Music Type: I think my music would have to be considered something else…not gangster rap but not hip-hop. I try to put my life into my songs that’s why they may seem so vulgar and other people may not understand them because they haven’t been in my shoes. I can’t talk about backpacking, jewelry, or dance songs, because that is just not me. But don’t think i’m not going to touch every aspect of the game…artists go through different stages in their lives and you can hear it on every album.

Where are you from? I’m from Columbus, Ohio. I was raised on the west side. I’m from a small section called “The Hilltop” (Lechner Ave. to be exact), which is where I get “Hilltop Resider” from. Believe it there’s no place like home…

Many artists do other things to support their music careers.  Do you have a “day” job?
To fund my career and take care of my daughter I work at a restaurant. I’m a Prep cook. I’m tryin to take a more positive legal approach to income. Fast money is only that fast. Just as soon as it comes it goes. Legal money is here to stay. Think about that.

How did you get started in the music industry? I think my brother got me started rapping. I used to jot very basic rhymes down when i was ten. I think one went “Im ridin in my car tryna get far, not in the sky but homie ima star”. LOL..Yea it was like that. But as the years went on music became my hobby, then my talent, now it’s my life and hopefully soon my career. All my life my parents had music playing everywhere, the car, the house, at our corner store.. So it just comes as a second nature to me.

What makes you unique as an artist? My homie R.o.X tells me that it is my style that cannot be mocked. I try to say things I’ve never heard before and say them like nobody ever will. Plus the element of my life are expressed in my music, therefore no one has lived my life…so no one can tell my story.
What are you working on now? Right now I’m just working on becoming a better and more responsible artist and team member. I’m working on sacrificing my time, money and whatever else for my team. I will be dropping my first album sometime this year. I haven’t decided on an album title yet… but you guys will be upated asap.

Is there anything else you’re passionate about besides music, and if so, how does this influence your music? You probably couldn’t tell but I love animals with a passion. I’m studying right now to become a licensed Vet Tech. Yes, KidFlame wants to be an animal nurse…LOL.  I’m also very passionate about my family. They mean the world to me. My Agnew Glenn family, my KBE family, and my fans. It is all about you guys.

Inspirations: My inspirations come from all the great artists that came before me: Big L, Pimp C, 2pac, Biggie, Guru, NWA, Trick Daddy, No limit, Wu-tang Rocafella, Def jam, all those people young guys like Boosie, Webbie Soulja Boy, and the hardest working people I’ve met in a long time, Clay and Lara Phillips, Tyler Shumick, Boom, and last but not least my man Rico Caine… The KBE family…Lets get started!!!
